Hello,

My name is
Jeronimo

I like work that holds up technically
and still feels considered.

Introduction

An aerospace engineer who builds hardware

I'm a senior at Georgia Tech with a habit of building things that shouldn't exist yet — factory-floor hardware, AI products, one-of-one electronics. Two co-op rotations in propulsion at Delta TechOps taught me what it takes to ship work people depend on: engine teardowns, test cell operations, and fleet-level risk systems. I spent a research summer in Limerick applying CFD across aerospace and biomedical problems, and I lead a 14-person creative team at SHPE. What I care about is the intersection of engineering rigor and good design — work that holds up technically and still feels considered.

Delta TechOps.
Propulsion Engineering Co-Op — Engine On-Wing Support
Aug 2024 – Dec 2024Atlanta, GA
  • Performed PW4000 engine teardowns, borescope inspections, and system-level assessments across active fleet units, developing hands-on fluency in turbofan architecture, wear patterns, and failure signatures.
  • Built a fleet-wide risk-tracking dashboard across 40+ PW4000 engine inspection programs, embedding severity and likelihood indicators to surface high-risk units and drive preemptive maintenance decisions aligned with FAA and OEM timelines.
  • Conducted structured failure mode analysis on a critical component, analyzing 5 key failure events across 10 years of data; built a risk matrix and presented findings to engineering leadership and compliance teams.
  • Authored 7 technical documents and revised 5 maintenance procedures — identified improvements projected to reduce repair turnaround time by up to 60%.

Delta TechOps.
Propulsion Engineering Co-Op — Test Cell Operations
Jan 2024 – May 2024Atlanta, GA
  • Supported reliability and trend investigations across engine test cell runs, analyzing performance data against baseline parameters to identify anomalies and surface degradation signatures.
  • Designed and deployed an automated engine performance trending tool after end-to-end workflow interviews with test cell engineers — cutting time-to-insight from 30 minutes to 2, standardizing analysis across all weekly runs.
  • Led two R&D initiatives targeting off-wing test capability expansion: reverse engineered an adapter to integrate incompatible OEM hardware, and designed a fully custom portable test bench from scratch.
  • Managed first-response diagnostics during live test cell operations across 13+ weekly engine runs, coordinating cross-functional fault isolation to maintain testing continuity and safety.

Research Contributor — Applied CFD
Jun 2025 – Aug 2025Limerick, Ireland
  • Applied ANSYS Workbench and Fluent to model airflow in human arteries under plaque buildup and through engine components under varying boundary conditions.
  • Compared findings across both domains to communicate how solver and meshing choices produce materially different design conclusions.
